Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year, everyone! 2016 feels like a great year! Creative adventures await and I am so excited to participate in each and every one!
Today I was a happy spectator at the glorious 115 year old Philadelphia tradition: the Mummer’s Parade. What a colorful display of community pride, fellowship, and brotherly love that continued throughout the entire day of celebration!
Imagine my surprise when I encountered one of my former professors who was one of the several thousand Mummers! Our faces tell the story: it really WAS a fun day!
A few days ago, I also went to Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square, PA. This botanical garden originally owned by the DuPonts always has a breathtaking holiday display. This year did not disappoint! Among all the twinkling lights and fountain displays were these two gems which I bet you will see some version of in the future!
What an orchid! And check out this maple tree trunk! Talk about texture!! Isn’t that just the coolest?!?!?
Here’s wishing you and yours wonderful days in 2016, full of just enough challenges to make the fun days special. I’m looking forward to sharing the journey with you!
